1. What HGV-Parking.co.uk is
HGV-Parking.co.uk (a danielwalsh.ai project) is an advertising and introduction platform: it lets UK landowners list yard space for HGV parking and lets drivers and operators find and contact them. We are not a party to any parking arrangement, tenancy or licence agreed between a yard owner and a renter, and we do not currently take payments — money, contracts and access arrangements are agreed directly between the parties.
2. Accounts
You must give accurate details when registering and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or remove accounts or listings that are inaccurate, unlawful or abusive.
3. Listings and their accuracy
Yard owners are responsible for their listings: description, photos, prices, spaces, security features and access hours must be honest and kept up to date. Owners are also responsible for their own legal position — including planning permission for parking use, occupiers' liability insurance, tax on income, and consent before a yard is used as an operator-licence operating centre. We may remove listings we believe are misleading.
4. Parking is at the owner's and driver's own risk
We do not inspect yards and cannot guarantee any listing's security claims. Vehicles, trailers and loads are parked at the vehicle operator's risk, and yards are made available at the owner's risk. Verify anything that matters to you before agreeing a let.
5. Reviews and content
Reviews must reflect genuine first-hand experience. Do not post content that is defamatory, offensive or infringes anyone's rights. By posting content (including photos) you grant us a licence to display it on the platform. We may remove content at our discretion.
6. Advertising
The platform is funded by clearly-labelled third-party adverts. Adverts are the advertiser's responsibility; a “Sponsored” label means we are paid for the placement, not that we endorse the product.
7. Liability
The platform is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for losses arising from parking arrangements made through the site, listing inaccuracies, theft or damage at any yard, or downtime. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Earned badges & Elite discount
Trusted and Elite badges are computed automatically from genuine reviews and ratings left on the platform; they are not sold, and they pause automatically if an average falls below the quality bar. By listing a yard, owners agree to honour the automatic Elite driver discount (currently 5%) applied when they accept an order from an Elite-badged driver — the trade is a proven, highly-rated driver in their yard. We may adjust badge tiers, thresholds or the discount prospectively; changes never alter the price of an already-accepted order. Attempting to manipulate ratings (fake bookings, review swaps, rating your own accounts) may lead to badge removal or account suspension.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. The service is intended for use in the United Kingdom only.
